I've had my xiaomi mi stick for almost a year now and it's the first time I have a problem with it. It's stuck in a bootloop. I know for certain that this is not a power issue nor it is TV's fault. Been testing it on different outlets and TV's just to make sure, nothing helps. The bootloop is not long enough to get into boot settings and reset to factory settings. Any tips or is it dead for good?
I gave up on mine today. If I connect it to specific outlets/TVs, it works even when hot, but in other combinations it refuses to work. It seems to me it is very sensitive to the circuit it is connected to, given that in some outlets work and in others dont.
Under high load, it freezes then reboots. Switched power supplies, cables, removed the case and even attached a USB fan. Wiped cache and reverted to factory settings; bootloop even happened during setup, it is really annoying. I definitely wouldn't recommend this device.
Edited to add: See if wiping cache helps.
I have one of these. Regret buying it, such a piece of crap.
