Prevent TV from automatically turning off

  1. I'm watching TV on my Android TV
  2. I switch inputs to game console or whatever
  3. Android TV automatically turns off (fine)
  4. TV automatically turns off (not fine)

How to prevent step 4? Really annoying to be in the middle of a video game and have my TV turn off.

Turn off CEC/HDMI link (whatever it is called in your TV) on either the TV or your android TV box.

I am assuming you are using android 9. Under screen saver, you will see ' Put TV to sleep.' Turn that off
