Any good android player to run Remux movies?

by BoomBamBrim

Any suggestion for android player which can smoothly handle Remux downloaded movies? Currently I have Xbox sX which native app cannot handle it freezes and lags a lot when enable subtitles. Small movie sizes runs well butarger file like Remux (50+GB) cannot run smoothly.

I am planning for Nvidia shield but I read somehwere people facing similar issue with that box as well.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Have you tried playing the video files through Plex app on the Xbox-X ?

Do you need TrueHD/DTS-MA audio. if so it the Shield Pro, If not Fire TV Stick 4k Max, Chromecast w Google TV, ONN UHD. Whey you add ethernet to these they can handle 4k remuxes pretty well, but they are restricted to lossy audio. Anything you are seeing about the Shield not handling Remux is related to the Tube version not the Pro. Any of the major software Plex, Emby, Kodi, Nova Media Player depending if you are going to play direct or use a server/client solution.
