No Volume Control on Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ but on Youtube

by Marzipan383

I experience a very annoying issue. I can control the volume of YouTube & YouTube Music via the AndroidTV controller. But recently I can't control the volume for above mentioned apps. I see the volume bar moving left/right but with no effect on the loudness. It remains the same. I can control the volume via my AVR controller - but this I would like to avoid. Pretty sure it is just some weird setting.

Any thoughts?

Using AndroidTV, leitest Iteration und Version Receiver: Harman Lardon AVR 151s TV: Samsung UE55C6700

HDMI CEC is enabled and works (like shutting down or start all components)

Thanks!

Surround sound sources are passed through to the audio system, so the volume has to be controlled by the audio system. If you want to control all audio with the device you need to turn off surround sound.

Happened once with my setup and restart helped get things back to normal... Did you try that?

How are you using Android TV on a Samsung TV?

What do you mean by "Android TV controller"?
