What I want is to basically take my firestick and sideload Firefox or some other browser with Adblock, so when I want I can go to streaming sites for shows and sports by using a wireless keyboard to type stuff in. I also want to keep the regular remote because it's easy to use for my girlfriend to use to go to the regular apps.

If your Firestick allows for multiple remote I highly recommend this one. I love it.

I use my phone as remote and keyboard and it's working smooth the app is in playstore name Serverless Bluetooth keyboard & mouse for PC/phone. I use mi stick btw
