I have a hisence 4k android tv and the tv itself is great. The 4k is pretty good and I have it hooked up to an av receiver for surround. But my only problem is that the android tv itself is really really slow and laggy and sometimes completely unresponsive. Now my main question is can I get one of those new Chromecast with Google tv sticks and just plug that into the HDMI port. Obviously I know that I can do that but im worried about it conflicting with the android tv. Has anyone done this before and fallen into problems?
There won't be any conflicts. I am using Sheild TV pro with an Android TV for example. Chromecast will act like any other HDMI device. The only conflict is with our mind, sometimes I forget whether am watching through Android TV or Shield and use the wrong remote.
