So I read a bunch of articles saying that with a new purchase of an Android TV or Google TV device you can get free 6 months of peacock premium and not one of them explained how to do it hopefully this is the right place to go would love some help thanks!
I have a Sony X80J Google TV. I had to get on a chat with Google Play Store representatives. They asked me to update all apps by going into my TV’s Google Play store app -> Profile -> update all qpps -> restart TV. After restarting my TV it still took around 30 minutes after which the Peacock banner came up on my For you page.
I just bought a Philips android TV and they're telling me to claim my exclusive offer, but it keeps saying error. How do I claim this offer?

I figured it out. Go to the Play Store entry for Peacock. You'll see a button to accept the offer. I forgot the exact wording, but you'll see it if it's still available to you.
