On my Google TV Chromecast Hulu is bugged and the dimming the end of episodes never goes away

The dimning at the end of episodes never goes away*

You have to manually pause and play to get the brightness back. This bug has survived a full uninstall and data deletion so I'm curious if anyone else is having troubles. The fix is pretty easy but it starts to get to you having to pause and play every single episode lol, especially when you're just trying to unwind

Honestly I wouldnt doubt if it was Hulu side. Ive had problems with their apps for literal years. Stuff like restarting the episode after the first commercial break or freezing at a commercial break so you have to close it and restart the commercial.

The Amazon app will sometimes get stuck in HDR or non-HDR mode or something. The Chromecast goes into photo gallery mode after being idle and the colors on the photos are strange. It can be really annoying.

It's not just chromecast. The Hulu app on the Xfinity box is doing the same thing for us.

Mine is doing it also. And I have multiple google TVs in the house and it does it on all of them consistently. No issues with kodi or any other app and I have many.

Hulu has problem. Mine says your location is not USA. That's why I always cast Hulu from my phone
