Trying to see if I can use Google Home to change channels but see that everything makes it open the YouTube app for some reason. Is there no way of controlling it with the app? My live streaming app is called Liberty Go btw

What phone are you using? The Android TV remote app will control any app on Android TV device. It works through the Google TV app and can be available in the quick start section.
