CCWGTV on TCL Android TV

I finally managed to get the latest version of CCWGTV APK on my TCL TV. Features available now are: movies and shows; these features were avaiaavailable for me (EU).

How I got it done:

  1. Updated TV via local network. Got the system update from TCL website.
  2. Updated all apps (most importantly Google App).
  3. Installed CCWGTV December 2020 version (I encountered an issue instanlling the latest one directly).
  4. Unistalled the Android TV launcher.
  5. Updated the CCWGTV APK with December 2021 version.

I thought that to install Google TV, you need the latest versions of "Google TV Home" app & new "Google" app (version 5.xx.x...)

And what is the version of android on your TV? I think that is important information that you didnt share. My tcl tv is on android 8 and i doubt it would work for me.
