This should do the trick. You wont be able to move to the default launcher but there's plenty of alternatives out there.
Boy would that be nice.

You can do this with adb commands, but you'll have to find the launcher youself. Not sure if anyone extracted it from Onn, I use Flauncher on there as the default launcher
