2015 Pro model with an SSD upgrade owner checking in. Never felt better.
I have Android 11 on my Sony Google TV and whatever the last version on my 2017 shield pro.
I legit prefer the older version of AndrodTV. The latest version of Google TV is 90% ads. I only see like 5-6 of my apps and rest are all adds.
The worst is the shitty #WatchWithMe feature they do now, where they share some celebrities watchlist. Like i give a flying fuck what Simu Liu watches.
You can't disable this, and this ribbon is really REALLY wide!

Love my 2015 Shield Pro. Had it from day 1. Changed out the drive to a ssd. I mostly stream. I also use these 2 apps thats in the play store: Background Apps & Process List, and Ram Cleaner. And i use FLauncher for my home screen.

The only model that is currently not listed with Android 11 support is “darcy,” which is likely an error as the same-generation “sif” does have support; these refer to the 2017 generation of Shield TV.
I'm going to be seriously upset if this isn't an error and the 2017 darcy models get left behind.

I thought they Shield was skipping 11. I wondered if they were going straight to 12. Guess not.
