This has been part of Android TVs Live Channels for awhile now. This was not available on Google TV in the past?
i dont see pluto channels in my LIVE section now, just sling today.. weird. I can open pluto tv and see all the channels in the app tho.
Not showing up for me. I wonder if it will be available quicker than profiles.
I would like it better if we could sort channels in the live tab or pick favorites from all the services and have them show up at the top. Right now it's all the YouTube TV channels then all the Philo channels, and the Pluto channels will probably come after that when it rolls out. I'd be better off opening Philo or Pluto and browsing then scrolling all the way down to them in the live tab.

So is this similar to YouTube TV/Philo/Sling where you need to download the app first, sign in and then the channels will populate in the Live Tab automatically or will this just be rolled out to everyone without the need to download Pluto TV since unlike the former, the latter is free and does not require an account?
I use Pluto TV too and I don't see it yet or the live tab. And I'm on the east coast of the USA
I'm still not sure on the whole Android TV vs Google TV. My understanding is same base, but different UIs more or less - is that accurate? If this feature comes to Google TV does it mean it comes to Android TV too or does it need to be added separately? I ask because this is something that would be nice to have, but my TV runs Android TV not Google TV.

It's a step forward, but I'd be happier if they integrated tuners (like HDHomeRun's) into the Live tab. They already have the ability to do so in the old Live Channels app - how hard can it be to port that code over into the Live tab?!
