Which TV Stick Can Stream Browser?

by Brazzers1917

Hey guys πŸ‘‹ Which TV stick should I buy if all I want to do is watch browser content? Not interested in Netflix Hulu or any subscription service just want to be able to watch videos from any website.

I looked into Chromecast but from what I gather all it does is cast your entire phone screen to the TV, which means you have to keep your phone open the whole time and you can't browse your phone or text your friends while watching the movie? Obviously that would be a major bummer.

The app 'Web Video caster' can basically cast any video from a website to a chromecast, smart tv or dnla device.

Just ordered Chromecast with Google TV. Looks like it has all the necessary features including casting, 4K support, installing apps and game streaming 😊

Buy a raspberry pi 4. It’s basically an all in one computer that is only a few inches large and only costs about $40. You will also need a wireless keyboard mouse combo thing, a case, and an SD card, and you will need to flash the raspberry pi operating system to the SD card on a computer. all pretty straight forward.

There are several internet browsers available for any Android TV device. I think the current best are JioPagesTV or Firefox (must sideload).

You can also side load Chrome to any android TV device and stream there. I use a small Bluetooth keyboard/mouse to browse because it's terrible with a regular remote.

Works great for me on my shield, should work ok on a Chromecast as well as long as it has a USB hub to connect a keyboard

You can stream browser tabs from computer to Chromecast. From a computer, though -- not from a phone.
