I just installed a TiVo Stream 4K device today, and in the process of fiddling around with it I seem to have changed the look and functionality of the standard Google keyboard. Instead of being a smallish grey/black keyboard in the center of the screen it’s now a full-width white keyboard that takes up the lower third of the screen. In addition, I have no idea how to work that keyboard as it doesn’t seem to respond to the remote.

I did download other keyboards and they work fine but I’d like to figure out what I did to Gboard and how to fix it. Im about to send a device to my folks and I don’t want them to experience the same problem, especially if I’m at a loss to fix it.
