Unable to browse USB drive on Mecool KM2

by dca12345

I bought a new Mecool KM2. I updated the device and went to browse the USB stick that's formatted with FAT32 and has some video files on it. The Mecool sees the device but when I click on it I only see the Misc and Available options. When I click on those options, nothing happens. I rebooted and got the same results.

I made sure that USB debugging is off, I installed ANT+ USB service, and restarted, but I get the same results.

Sounds like your not using a file manager app.

You must format it FAT32 MBR (master boot record)

You need file manager app like x-plore to access the usb drive files.

Iirc, KM2 does not support Storage Access Framework . So you will only able to read and can't write files on external drive similar to CCwGTV.
