Just got an Onn AndroidTV and notice the image is darker than my 4K Firestick and Shield. Was wondering if anyone had a similar issue and if there’s anyway to adjust it without messing with my TV settings.

Are you running it on the same HDMI port as the other devices. Each port has it's won picture settings. I've never noticed any brightness difference between devices., only in TV settings.
Check your TV for a setting called black level or something like that, with a choice of standard (16-255) or PC (0-255). You want standard
I have got a new firestick, I find the colors of ui a bit off (on the white side) and a bit darker picture quality. It is due to color profile I think. Firestick doesn't use tv's setting appropriately. Bravia has different picture and sound setting for different apps and no picture setting for ui.. I don't know if this is hdmi issue or firestick ui.. Cannot expect this from Amazon.
I've always wondered about picture quality across devices. Is it true that Invidia shields and apple tv's look clearer?
Yea I noticed these default to her and it's Grey. Turn that off and you should be good
Has anyone noticed that Prime doesn't look as good on the ONN device? I bought two and also bought 2 Tivo Stream 4K's. All of my apps on the ONN device look great except Prime. The picture looks blurry and the colors don't look right. With the Tivo Stream 4K's Prime looks fine. I'm wondering if I got a bad ONN device or if maybe the Prime app just needs to be "fixed" with an update.
I have both a 4K Fire Stick and I got the Onn 4K a month ago and I don't notice any difference on my TV.
I am using mecool km2. Not such issues. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B091F18931
Are you running with HDR on? Your Fire Stick may have been set to adaptive mode so HDR wasn't always on.
