I sideloaded DIRECTV for Tablets_v5.28.003 from apkpure but it isn’t taking the credentials. Also tried sideloading the regular app but got the same results.
Anyone have any success with DirecTV (not Stream or Now)?
I’m using Walmart’s onn Android TV UHD streaming device.
Think you may have too extract DirecTV apk from an Amazon FireTV device, then Sideload it to your AndroidTV device for it to work. APKmirror.com is the best website for official apps and finding old versions of apks, maybe someone has already uploaded the FireTV version to that site.
Think the whole point of DirecTV app not being available on AndroidTV yet, is because DirecTV wants to sell their proprietary $140 TV box to it's customers, which is no better than other official AndroidTV boxes selling for $65-$80.
Just download the channels app and login using your directv login.
There's no android TV app for DirecTV. Apart from stream or now, DirecTV Go (Brazil) & DirecTV Go (Latin America) has Android TV app.
