About 1 or 2 months ago I got a Mi TV Stick. I'm happy with it, but it seems to be stuck on the October 2020 update (build PI.832). I want to update it for the CPU OC and the connect/disconnect button for BT headphones, but everytime I go to the update page it says I'm up to date. I've also tried this , but as soon as I enter recovery it stops being detected by ADB. Tried both US and Germany region (where I live isn't available), and also reset the device.
Also is there any way to disable absolute volume? I find 3 to be quiet while 4 is loud.
Try setting UK as region if you live in Europe.
If that doesn't work, download & install the latest firmware from here
By "absolute volume", do you mean the stick's volume control? I don't think there's a way to disable it. Usually I use the TV's volume control instead. Most of the times I keep the stick's volume at full, sometimes to 11 when I listen to music.
