I have tried many things, such as factory reset. But I just can't get it to work. What's more frustrating is our phones and pc work. Can someone give me some tips for this?

Check the frequency of your wifi. 2.4 or 5GHZ ?
One thing you could try is to temporarily disable the security on your router so that you can log on to your network without a password. Then try to connect. Then if you can connect with the security off, reenable the security then try to connect again. That worked for me when I had that problem. I don't know if it will work for you but it's worth a shot. But don't forget to reenable the router's security.
Do a reset on router.
Nvidia Shield’s have an issue that sometimes appears that does exactly what you describe. The internal clock needs to be reset for some reason then it can connect. Not sure if it’s a Shield specific problem or AndroidTV.
Change NTP
You probably already solved this. For me, I had to connect with my phones hotspot and download the update. There was some type of fix for wifi in it, afterwards I was able to switch to my home wifi.
Can you provide more information? There is some error message?
A simple way to check if the problem is on your router side, is try to connect to Mobile Hotpot on your smartphone.
