My Chromecast with GoogleTV suddenly stopped working after uninstalling an app. It suddenly froze and eventually switched off, never to turn on again. I unplugged it, change HDMI ports, checked power supply etc and I still can even get it to light up. Help.
I don't have a Google TV, but on regular Chromecast there was a hardware reset button that factory resets if held down for about 25 seconds as long as its plugged in. Your Google TV may have the same function on it.
have you tried connecting it to a computer over USB? you might be able to get an adb shell, or at least see if it is being detected as a usb device.
What app did you uninstall?
TV set or Chromecast w/ GTV ?
