Google TV aspect ratio is broken on a 16:10 monitor. Any ways to fix it?

Define broken... the shield only outputs 16:9

You might be able to force 16:10 by manually setting the resolution via ADB. I was able to get my shield to output at a ultra wide resolution using the same method. Although in my case apps did not work or display correctly.
