Seems to be running pretty smoothly after this update. Nice to know they are keeping it up thus far.

Huge improvement, thank you Walmart.
I brought out my ONN to do the update and see if it is any better, but sadly NOT. I have the TiVo Stream 4k and ONN connected to the same TV for testing, and the TiVo is far superior.
One of my main test, is how my purchased UHD movies play under Vudu. TiVo plays the movies WITH Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos audio, the ONN only plays in HD, not even 4k.
Even Netflix plays movies in Dolby Vision with the TiVo, but the ONN only plays in HDR 10.
So, price wise, the TiVo is far superior to the ONN. Of course, they still do not have the capabilities of the Nvidia Shield, but that is a different story.
do you get the new Android startup animation? My stb on Android Pie has the new animation on the July security patch.
Anyone else lose Prime Video after the update? I could've sworn it was there before. I can't even get it from the play store.
Recently got it and love it-- Same performance as the Google TV at more than half the price, with a MUCH better remote. Sure, it does not support Dolby Vision/Atmos, but it's plugged into a Gigabyte FV43U monitor, so that's a non-issue for me. My ONLY complaint? VUDU is hard capped at HDX, no matter what. Ughh
Hi by default the display color space is YCBCR 420, is it worth it to change to something else like 444 or RGB? Also not sure what the color depth option is, it gets grayed out if i switch the default color space option.
any idea how to force the remote update? i had to swap a remote and it popped up at the top after pairing the new one and now i can not get it to do the update for the remote? nevermind it finally popped up again and allowed me to select it. was odd it just vanished from the top in the home screen and no where to select it. had to restart it a few times.
My remote won't pair with my device now. Hmm....
Is anyone having audio issues? I have my volume all the way as far as it'll go and it's not very loud at all
I'm starting to think the remote issue maybe heat related the box felt only slightly warm but just as a test when it started acting up and the remote wasn't connected I set an ice pack on top of the box and suddenly it started working again. Is there a control somewhere in some deep setting where you can change the temperature sensor settings maybe the Bluetooth radio gets shut off at a certain temp?
So when do we get the channels on the (Samsung) TV to change from the ONN remote???
Please someone share a screenshot of home screen and its version, it appears that I get stucked with the original one despite several factory resets and updates
Can anyone confirm by if this can support audio passthrough using Kodi? Firestick 4K doesn't support this and I'm curious if this one can do it.
Meh I just this thing on a regular TV I like it they r 19 bucks best deal out there it’s a good Kodi Box as well works good with seren
Not able to download APK, just bought the box today, trying to get movie us and either Firefox or chrome browser. Basically any apps, any help will be appreciated. The allow download mgr is grayed out.
Is anyone still having issues with the remote? I got this in July and it's been fine until last week, the remote stops working, the led on remote is red not the normal green, reboot box nothing then suddenly works again for random amount of time.
Anyone know how to update the firmware on the remote
After this update my TV box now refuses to connect to my 5G internet, and the volume buttons on the remote stopped working. Absolute crap.
I still say the Chromecast with Google TV is superior.
I just bought this a couple days ago so this is excellent timing.
They added an HDR switch in display settings, so you can stop it from turning everything into HDR, which is good. Unfortunately,, now you won't ever get HDR either. You're so close, Walmart. Instead of an on / off switch, you need:
BTW, does anyone else notice it doesn't do 3:2 pull down properly, so there are some micro stutters and blurriness in 24fps content if you set refresh rate to 60hz in settings. It's fine if you set it to 24hz and let the TV convert to 60fps. Then it's all good, or as good as 24fps can be on a 60 hz display. But if you do that, now the UI and any 60fps content are a blurry mess. This seems like a deal breaker for me. I really like the remote, too; it actually suits me well and I like having a Settings button.
