Philips Ambilight remote stopped working after update

I bought the TV that was released in June 2020. The remote's keyboard and voice recognition does not work anymore with apps, including YouTube. The front of the remote works normally. The mic isn't picking up any sound for some reason. It was after the latest TV update. Is there any way for it to work again?

Edit: The update unpaired the remote from the TV. So I pressed the pair button for 3 seconds and it fixed it.

Try uninstalling updates from Google App in playstore. I have similar issue with a Sanyo Android TV. If any updates happen on Google app, the voice recognition doesn't work. Able to avoid that by disabling auto updates in playstore and manually updating all apps (except Google) once in a while.

Also check if the remote is connected via bluetooth or not. Smart TV remotes usually come with both IR and Bluetooth connectivity. When connected with IR only basic buttons will work and that too when pointing remote to TV. When connected over bluetooth basic buttons + voice search will work and remote works in any direction.
