My Twitch app doesn't refresh properly. I'll watch a stream for a while, go back to the home page and it shows me streams that were live when I originally turned on the previous stream (or opened the app) I was watching, but aren't necessarily still live. The opposite is also true, new streams that went live while I was watching aren't shown. The UI just isn't refreshing with new stream info when you exit a video.
I have the same issue. I also get an issue when I open the app it gets stuck on a grey screen, and I have to force close and reopen it.
The fact that it doesn't even stream at 60fps properly gave me enough reason to switch to another client. I'm using SmartTV Client for Twitch for the moment (it's on play store).
when my image is going up or down more than it should be...an easy fix is to change from (720p-1080p to something lower and then back up at the highest one)
Same here. The Twitch app on Chromecast seems to be awful!! I have a steamer I watch in 1440p when casting from my phone, but the app on Chromecast shows he's only available in 720p. I've uninstalled the app and will simply cast Twitch from my phone instead. It's so frustrating.
