I can add my AirPods to my TV just fine. But then if I finish watching and want to connect to them again, there doesn’t seem to be an option to connect to them again. Just unpair and pair again. Any advice?

It's a flaw with Android TV. I hope they fix it soon.
I found that with my Vodafone TV box I can pair again, without having to unpair first. I hope it works for you.
