Can't hear the voice of other people on Android TV

Sounds like their audio is coming through to your tv as 5.1, meaning their voice comes through the center speaker, but your tv is stereo/2 channel only.
Look in your TV audio setting for stereo downmix, stereo only or something similar or perhaps the audio at the other end needs to be set to only 2 channel.
