I have 2 of them. Honestly, I'm so sick of them. They are slow and laggy. 2gb of ram just isn't cutting it.

I ran out of storage on one, with very basic apps installed. I added a 15gb flash drive, to find I was only able to move a handful of apps to the flash drive to save storage. Yes, you can force it in the Dev settings, but I found once you do that, the apps forced to the drive are painfully slow or they don't work at all and you have to move them back.

I'd buy the KM6, but it doesn't appear to have Netflix certifications.

Get the Mecool KM2 it's Google certified and Netflix a very good Android TV box I have 2 and they work well

You better go for the Mecool Km2

For the price, it will work, might have some menu lag, but playing back videos should be very smooth. Honestly, the only other media player that will do this and have zero lag, is the nVidia Shield, which is over twice the price of the Mi Box S.

Yes I got the s and I still use it and enjoy it.

You´ll need a usb+ethernet and a 64Gb pendrive to make the full set. I´m happy with this combo.

Agree with others on the lack of ram. I upgraded to a mecool km6 deluxe(that name is too long!)for this reason. 4 gigs of ram instead of the mi box's 2 gigs.

I had some lag on the mi box with larger files and Mx player just didn't work at all and VLC doesn't play every file so I didn't see an option but to upgrade. The mecool km6 has other issues but not the ram.
