NFL Gamepass Intl can’t hide scores!

by nate5182

Does anyone here use NFL Gamepass International (outside of the US) on their Android TV? The Android TV version of the app is the ONLY version that does not give you the ability to hide scores. For someone who lives on the opposite side of the planet this is very frustrating since I can’t watch the games live. When I contact support they just say “sorry”. No explanation. Does anyone have any idea why this would be? Any workarounds for this?

Such a bizarre oversight. It makes the Android TV app basically useless. My workaround is to use the app on my iPhone, where the scores can be hidden, and cast to my TV using Chromecast.

SimianBear

Same problem. Hope they can fix it.

This is fucking retarded. They have setting on the phone app but then claim they don't plan to add it to tv apps. Somebody fucked up and needs to be fired. Squinting my eyes to scroll through the games it's ridiculous m

If you have an Android Phone you can hide scores in that App and then Chromecast to your TV. It's not great, as their Chromecast support is iffy at best, but at least you don't see the scores!

Seriously considering cancelling GamePass over this - but I say that every year. Interestingly, the FireTV app does hide the scores!

The "hide scores" option was not working after the update this year for me either (I'm in the US, using Apple TV 4K), but then they fixed it in the past few days.

As current solution (browser-only) you can hide it like so

  1. Install extension that adds custom CSS
  2. Allow the extension on nflgamepass
  3. Add the following: .gp-match--result { display: none !important; }

It should hide the scores but not ETA & other stuff

Just put and issue on the web requesting this feature on TV. This is so stupid.

Did you find a solution? Tried to install an old apk but didn't found one that doesn't display score. The only solution that I see was to use an keyboard/mouse in the android tv. It then loads a different apk (don't know why) that doesn't show score.

Rogge_Ragnarok

I canceled my subscription and referred to the fact that you cannot hide scores. I hope more ppl do the same to get them to fix it... Stupid to say the least.

This is a joke, the web based version has the little toggle to turn them off. Was hoping the settings associated with my profile would carry over to the app.

Substantial_Waltz_13

Yep very very annoying. Thankfully apple tv actually toggles the scores of so going to use that from now on instead of the android app

Sucks, but can you cut out a piece of paper or put another blank picture in front of that section of your screen?
