I have been using the Mi TV Stick for a few months now, however today suddenly it stopped working and won’t even turn on. Is there anyway I can still save it? Is it totally bricked? How can I find out?
Edit: I do hear a screeching sound from the device when I connect it to power. Is there any way to reset it if it’s not even turning on?
Try a different plug socket, adapter and cable. Some different chargers don't have enough power to turn on the TV stick
Mine just did the same thing.
I also hear a sound after I plug it in, but it's more like "breaking a stick" sound.
Might as well go for a xiaomi phone try Poco f3 or Mi 10t. X3 will seem like gods to you now, I love this so much! :O The vibes are so on point.
I think i bricked my own Mi TV Stick by connecting the TV Stick via USB OTG to a 4-Port USB Adapter and the USB Adapter to a Universal Charger with power to 9V so i can connect a PS4 Controller via USB to the Android TV (Input Lag when connected via Bluetooth, Unuseable on NVIDIA GeForce Now)
I did try different wires, and power bricks, nothing seems to work. The white LED never turns on, I do however hear a screeching sound when I connect it to power.
