Multiple streaming apps no longer function properly on Nvidia Shield

by iamgonnagetswoll

I purchased my SHIELD TV pro 2019 back in April. Everything worked flawlessly. I returned from a trip a few weeks back to find that multiple apps no longer function or take multiple minutes to load. These apps are:

HBO Max - (it takes 4-5 minutes to load and once it's loaded, the play button is missing from all content so I can't watch anything) Paramount+ - (doesn't load) ESPN (doesn't - load) NBC Sports - (loads after waiting for 4-5 minutes) Criterion Collection - (loads but content takes 3-4 minutes to start once you hit play)

Apps that still work fine are: Netflix Twitch Amazon Prime

I believe the issue was in the latest upgrade, 8.2.3. because I couldn't have done anything while I was away. Is NVIDIA aware of this issue? Is there anything I can do? I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, clearing the cache, and turning the device off and on. Nothing works.

Edit: For those who are having a similar issue, my fix was disabling IPv6 in the network menu.

You got a gremlin in your device somewhere. I just tried HBO Max, ESPN, Paramount+, all work fine. I used NBC sports extensively during the Olympics. I don't have Criterion to test. Looks like you have done all the normal troubleshooting steps. I'm not normally a factory reset kind of guy but with that many apps acting up that may be your last resort. I assume these are all normally installed apps from the Play Store.

Do a factory reset

Hulu is unusable on both of my shield devices.
