So my hisense VIDAA OS is a nightmare I use it only for YT, Netflix and Laggy plex app. So I'm searching for a better alternative my only options in my country are: Amazon Fire stick 4k, Mi Box S or 4k, MI stick 4k, and some other random x96, MXQ pro... Etc. I won't be using 4k much since I mainly watch 1080 for connection stability and I would like to use kodi, vlc to stream local folders from my laptop or HD what do u recommend best out of these options?
There's no such thing as "Mi stick 4k".
If you're in the amazon ecosystem, get the fire TV stick 4k. If not, get whatever's suitable for you from the comment below (try importing the Chromecast with google TV or the Mecool KM2).
I just got myself a Homatics Box Q and I'm really happy with it. It ships worldwide (might take a while though), price is a little on the high side for its specs, but it's been a reliable no-tinkering-needed experience so far.
If you don't mind tinkering the Mecool KM6 Deluxe is a good option too, especially since you don't need 4K streaming.
