Android "Pure" Box Recommendations?

Hi All,

We recently purchased a Minix NEO U22-XJ, and it works great, but we are trying to hook it up to Meraki MDM. To install the work profile it needs to encrypt the device, unfortunately this is not possible on the Minix's current firmware according to their support team.

Does anyone have any recommendations on what box we should try next? It must have Android 9.0 Pie, not Android TV, and it must be able to encrypt the device.

If this is the wrong place to post this, any direction would be much appreciated.

This subreddit is specific to AndroidTV (see rule 3), not generic "tablet build" Android boxes like this.

You might need to make your own custom AOSP-based build.

Beyond other subreddits you could also check XDA developers.

All good android boxes come with ATV, any box with native android would be a cheap box with lax security which you won't be able to encrypt.

Your only option is to use a samsung phone with dex if you want to use your company profile on big screen on android.
