I have a Philips 58PUS7304/12 (bought in April 2020) and want to watch Apple TV+. However, it says that it's not compatible with my device. My TV is on the latest update so I think it should be. Does anyone know what is up with it?

Weird, I have it on my 2019 Phillips.
I got a 55PUS8204/12, I got AppleTV app as soon as it showed up in the play store, no problems.
there are, for some weird reason, two different Apple TV apps for Android TV when you search the Play Store. one i think only works with Sony TVs, but this other one should work for most Android TVs
I don’t even see it in the google play store on my brand new Philips TV - not sure what’s up
I sideloaded the non Sony one on to my Philips tv and get the Apple TV logo remaining on the screen 😟
I have a Philips 70PUS8545/12.
The app initially showed up on the store when it was widely open to Android TV devices. However the playback was poor with severe pixelization. Few days later, the app was not available anymore on the store...
From what I've seen, there is the same issue with a few Sony TVs.
Note: seems like the app is available again!
So, after waiting several months since the announcement that Apple TV was now available on Philips Android TVs, I was finally able to install the Apple TV app on my Philips TV. But when I open Apple TV it displays:
"Software Update Required. To use the Apple TV app, please install the latest Android TV software version in Settings."
When I check for updates for the Philips TV, it tells me there are no updates, and I already have the latest version.
This is a mess.
Why bother with apple tv at all when you have an android
You can try sideloading the ipa and see if it works. On Sony the official Sony ipa will install no problem but, if the model is not officially enabled, it will not work saying that it requires it enabled by Sony.
