Help me what to use to watch movies on TV

by [deleted]

Up until now I've been using popcorntime(yes im poor) on my laptop connected to my TV via hdmi to watch movies. However it is starting to be a pain in the ass. Recently I've stumbled across these android TV boxes that sell for about 50$ and I was wondering if they are any good. Like will I be able to download apps just like on my phone? Also what's the difference between those boxes and the sticks? The amazon fire stick, Google chromecast and mi box are always popping up when I search for android TV. Which one should I get but not too expensive pls. As long as I can use those pirate apps and websites to watch movies im cool with it.

Get the Chromecast w/Google TV. Research side loading apps. Download Cinema HD APK. Create a Real Debrid account for about $20 for 6 months or so. And Enjoy high quality streams for almost anything you can think of.

Real Debrid gives you access to the better streams. You log in your account once you get Cinema HD app.

Nowadays there isn't much difference between these sticks or those boxes. Check the specs you want & get that. Check for "Android TV" or "Google TV" as some of these boxes have sketchy versions of Android Phone put into boxes. As for what you can run, every Android app which can run in landscape mode will work, (it might not be a good experience with remote, so get some bluetooth mouse apps on phone or a real mouse) Any app made for "Android TV" will work smoothly with remote. For Movies, you can install chrome (Android Phone version) on TV/Box/Stick (using apk) & load any pirated sites, that's the epitomy of how far you can go for free. You can even download movies on Phone & cast them l, use Plex, Kodi etc. Or buy any subscription.

You can try some modded apps as well. For Anime there's Fire Anime, Ad-free YouTube Smart YouTube.
