They mention some difference between "android tv" and "google tv". So wait, are these 2 both actively developed separately? So not all "android tv" devices will get "google tv" as an update at some point? So an "android tv" update can contain features that my 2021 "google tv" won't have? That's so stupid! Why would they keep these seperate?

Wolf launcher is nice I use it on the firecube
Nvidia Shield is is different from Google TV I got rid of it I didn't pay £200 for Ads
I've already done it just uninstall Android TV Home Updates disable PlayStore auto update and restart and old home screen will be back no need to install another launcher
my pretty new TV is running version 9, so yeah, not expecting this to matter for the vast majority of people ever
