But mibox doesn't support Dolby vision

Do you have an Oled or a high end lcd with local dimming? If not, don't waste money, you won't get good DV, if you do, get the Shield.
I recently purchased a Sony Bravia,it has google tv,Which kind of made my shield tube obsolete For the time being.So I sold it for $100 and bought a TV stream for $29 on sale.So far after a week I would have to say it is a pretty solid device ,does everything I need from it,Not a lot of storage but for what I need or you still have a gig and a half left over.The shield is definitely the best streaming device but the price sometimes makes you wonder if it’s worth it ,because even though it is the best,Even the shield has some quirks at times
Since you have a LG OLED, I would get the shield. For one of the best TV's made today, you need the best streaming box.
Don't buy the tube though. Make sure you get the Shield Pro.
If the question is paying extra $ just for Dolby Vision... eh. Look up some comparison videos of DV vs non-DV and see if you can even tell the difference.
Probably makes more sense to get a Chromecast w Google TV. Not everybody needs the Shield.
