I have a TCL 3 Series with Android TV. I paired a Google TV remote to it via Bluetooth his weekend, and it works just as you’d expect; however, the YouTube and Netflix buttons on the remote do not work.
Before switching to my Shield I used the CCwGTV on our TCL Roku TV. For Roku I can set "default input" for when its powered on. Once that was set to the CCwGTV I never needed to touch the TCL remote again. Especially since the CC remote has input source control even if I wanted to jump back and forth to our Nintendo Switch or something.
