hi guys, i wanna buy an android tv but just wanna make sure will i be able to download movies or series to watch later on the Netflix android tv app directly on my android tv, just like when you watch from pc or android phone... dont wanna cast from my phone
Offline downloads are usually only limited to mobile apps. Not sure it would work if you sideloaded the mobile version of Netflix app, but I highly doubt it would. One workaround is to sideload PlayOn Cloud and use that instead to record/download Netflix videos. It's free to sign up and you buy credits to redeem when recording a video. Credits cost 12¢ on average, and you use 1 credit to record @ 720p, 3 credits @ 1080p. I think PlayOn still offers 5 free credits to new subscribers too, so you can check it out before buying any credits.
