Alternative YouTube clients?

SmartTubeNext seems to be broken almost every other day, it's getting extremely frustrating.

Smart Youtube TV is just normal YouTube these days, no real features apart from adblock. I already have premium so that's completely useless to me.

I'm looking for a client with sponsorblock + speed controls. Nothing else is really needed.

Anyone have any ideas?

None that lets you use your Google account.

These are the alternative YouTube clients for Android:

  • Newpipe works on tv and has both features you requested, but the UI on ATV is awful.
  • Skytube doesn't work on ATV (AFAIK).
  • YouTube Vanced doesn't work on ATV.
  • Old Smart tube, pretty sure it is dead.

The only problem I have with Smart tube next is that sometimes it fails to play some videos, going back and selecting the video again or selecting other quality usually solves it.

yeah, smart youtube next is just too beta. it works amazing if you keep it updated. But there's an update every day, it just gets annoying. At present, there's no good enough alternative to smartyoutube next
