Hi! We got a MI TV 4s 6 months ago. Today the remote has stopped working. We changed batteries but that didn't help unfortunately. I tried the pairing steps too but no luck. Any ideas or suggestions would be much appreciated!

Stupid trick I always use to check if an infra-red remote is working. Start your camera app on your phone and point the remote to the camera and press a button. If you see it flickering the remote most likely works. Phone cameras pickup IR light.
Seems to be a problem with alot of the remotes stop working, same with mine and I own 2. Brought a cheap third party one from ebay and its been working fine ever since
