I've already asked for a refund because I know it's bricked.
Maybe someone here know a way of unbricking my brand new Mi Tv stick.
I received it saturday, plugged it in my TV, did the configuration and it straight away gave me the option to download a 673MB firmware update.
I regret so much pressing confirm.
It downloaded the update, rebooted, updated for a few minutes and got stuck at the end of the load bar. Logo still animated.
Let it like that for the night. On sunday, since it was still stuck I tried to unplug it, reboot it, and it started the update process again, and got stuck.
I tried to enter recovery 30 times now and it's just impossible, the update automatically starts.
I know many people have this issue and nobody ever got an answer but, hey... Still hope.
