I recently download Apple TV app on Android TV on MiTV stick. And I explore the interface and it look awesome with gorgeous thumbnail and smooth UI. I really like the design of the TV interface. Apple TV Movies supposed to have Extras (Bonus Features) for each movie to own. But when I select a movie, I only see the trailers no extra features like you really see on DVD and Blu-ray in the past. Are there other Android TV devices or Google tv that have iTunes Extras on Apple tv movies/tv?
Pretty sure the extra features only work on Apple devices. That's how they get you.
Just watched a bunch of extra stuff on Liseys Story that just came out on Apple tv on my Google tv.
I don't seem to see any difference between my apple tv and apple tv app on my Google tv.
Could be I'm only looking at the Apple made stuff though, I haven't purchased any movies or tv through Apple. I see bonus stuff available for Greyhound, Palmer, Billie Elish, Ted Lasso, For All Mankind, Liseys Story, Home Before Dark. All on my Google tv.
Apple neutering their service on other platforms? Noooo, say it ain't so! /s
The fact that Apple TV app UI works so smoothly than the UI of Android TV makes me want to upgrade to Apple TV in the future.
