How long are movie titles available to rent?

by JoonKy

When WW84 became available to rent on Google TV, I figured I could wait a little while for the price to drop. When I checked back a month later, it wasn't available to rent. (I know it's available to rent from other services, but I have some Google TV credits I'd like to use.)

Does anyone know how long are movie titles available for rent on Google TV? I'm asking in general, but maybe specifically for movies that will end up on an subscription service, like HBO Max or Disney+.

Thanks

Unrelated to your question, but my recommendation is don't bother with WW84.

It's back on HBO Max as well. You can just do a trial of that if you're in a pinch or just subscribe for a month.

It is up to the publisher... They decide how content is available. Looks like it is only $10 right now at least :)

You can buy it for $9.99 in 4K right now, no need to rent: https://i.imgur.com/X1l0tjv.png

Google is late in the entertainment partnership and offerings. It's my main retailer and always have to wait for some offerings that had been available on other retailers for weeks.
