Button remapper messes up the volume keys

by abhinavsays42

So as soon as I installed button remapper and switched on the accessibility for it, the volume keys started behaving weird. Like, it will increase our reduce the volume on single tap but when I tap and hold it, it doesn't increase our reduce the volume continously. Does this happen with all Android TVs? Note that I haven't even configured anything in the button remapper, only enabled accessibility.

hello from Greece! (HELLAS)

only SOLUTION seems to be by activating "bypass" any apps which VOLUMES keys is needed!

we must go to ButtonMapper app settings here:

\more options\bypass apps

turn on the switch in APPS like:

mx player or vlc & iptv player or cinemahd, cyberflix etc & LIVE tv of course for terrestrial, cable or satellite channels

i tested & it works for XIAOMI p1 television

******************************************************************************the problem seems to be the BlueTooth original Remote Control including inside for working 360° direction!! ********************************************************************************

It happens as soon as you activate the accessibility service. It is a side effect for every device when you configure Button Mapper.

It is not possible to use Button Mapper and keep the volume keys original functionality.

Edit: not working on Xiaomi MI TV

It happened to me too it took a week to figure it out 😂 I mapped the color buttons on the Sony remote and I noticed the same issue, it even crashes the whole TV and caused it to boot loop so I uninstalled it now hopefully everything will be back to normal!
