Hello all I am new here and new to the Android tv I would like to know if i am able to sideload apps onto my netgear neotv prime I have already checked allow install from unknown sources in settings and I tried to download popcorn time through google chrome but I have no luck on downloading any help?
That is a very old TV box with the old Google TV OS (2012), you should get something new if you really want to enjoy what a certified AndroidTV/GoogleTV box can offer, take a look a this recommended list:

I don't think that box uses TV OS or Android OS. I almost look like very similar to the Roku OS very limited.
