Accessibility settings not preserved after reset

Anyone else have problems with App Accessibility settings not getting preserved after reset?

When I reset my TV box (using remote power button longpress menu), the Accessibility settings for several apps are turned Off despite that I had them set to On before reset.

Any way to fix this so the settings stick after reset? My TV box (Ematic, Google certified) is running Android 9.

I've heard that locking that app via the recent apps menu fixes this accessibility services resetting issue after a restart

So you want an app not to reset when you're resetting?

Do you mean restart?
