I have a hisense 4k TV running android OS. I want to play games from the Google play store but need a gamepad. Not sure I want to pay 60.00 for an Xbox one controller. Are there any good Bluetooth controllers out there? Thanks

8bitdo Pro 2, hands down. Will also work with your Switch if you have one. And a PC obviously.
I always had a noticeable delay when using Bluetooth controllers on Android devices. I'd stick with something that uses a USB 2.4 GHz dongle.
Lately all I really play a stadia tho stadia controller definitely does the trick
Anything made by 8BitDo gets my stamp of approval. A lot of their stuff is focused on the retro side of things, but they do make more modern gamepads, as well as retro-modern fusions, e.g. this SNES-styled gamepad .
You might also consider using a controller that comes with a (simple) wireless USB dongle, typically 2.4 GHz. That would bypass the potential issues of having your TV's meager USB port trying to power your whole controller while also sidestepping any potential complications from Bluetooth. Bluetooth is great for keyboards and the like, but when milliseconds of delay matter then Bluetooth might not always delver that response time, or worse may deliver it unevenly.
Does it have any usb ports to fit a usb hub? If it does, try the powerA wired Xbox controller, great quality, cheap, never needs charging and ready when you switch the TV on or can be used to switch the TV on.
