Hisense H8G won’t start after trying to update

So I got a pop up that there was new software to update so I clicked yes and it started the process as normal. Then towards the end it opened up the android boot loader menu and I was confused but waiting a minute then clicked reboot. And now it won’t turn on at all. After waiting 10 minutes I tried a soft reset but nothing yet.

Any thoughts? Is it bricked?

Same thing happened to my H8G last night.

fwiw, mine updated just fine. but it seems a common problem and i would've probably avoided updating had i seen threads like this beforehand.

hopefully, their customer supports helps you get this fixed
