I'm thinking of changing the ui resolution to 1080p currently it's locked to 720p I have a full hd panel android tv. Has anyone done this, Will it improve the experience

The UI? I assume you just mean the output. The interface would be smaller, allowing you to see more icons, more of the UI at the same time.

I bought a 1080p Android TV and it renders the UI in 720p. I bought a 4K firestick due to me not being able to stand the blurry UI, everything on the Firestick renders in 1080p, i couldn't be happier.

I have the same issue with my Android TV: the TV itself has a resolution of 1080p but Android TV interface is down scaled to 720p. Video application like youtube and netflix correctly shown video at 1080p resolution. Is the any possibility to change the resolution of android TV?
